What you’ll do: Lead and oversee finance function modernisation engagements, driving the shift from transaction processing to data-led insights that enable trusted, strategic decision making. Own end-to-end delivery of complex process optimisation and transformation programs, including activity analysis, risk & control framework design, continuous monitoring, and embedding sustainable improvements. Provide strategic finance system implementation support across business cases, operating model design, chart of accounts, program governance, and control assurance. Lead cost optimisation initiatives by defining operating models, identifying commercial benefits, and securing stakeholder alignment to fund modernisation programs. Drive governance, accounting, integration, and synergy realisation in transactional change activities, including pre- and post-deal support. Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, understanding their strategic priorities, and tailoring solutions to meet evolving business needs. Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture focused on innovation and excellence. Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, thought leadership, and market insights. What we’re looking for: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, external audit, consulting or a related field, with demonstrated progression to senior management roles. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification . CA qualification or equivalent professional accounting designation. Proven experience leading large, complex finance transformation, process optimisation , and finance systems implementation engagements. Strong expertise in risk & controls, financial reporting, technical and management accounting, budgeting, and commercial finance. Exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to distil complex issues, advise on risk and opportunity, and deliver actionable insights. Outstanding leadership and people management capabilities, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing junior staff. Excellent client relationship management skills and a proven track record of managing engagement profitability and growth. Strong attention to detail combined with an ability to deliver high-quality, client-ready reports and presentations whilst maintaining PwC’s Risk & Quality standards.
